Managing Director & Founder
Tom is a lawyer and former public servant with over 13 years’ experience in senior roles at the Australian Public Service . He is the founder and managing director of Nexus CAP, a leading allied health service provider, and Tools 4 Life Occupational Therapy, an award-winning practice.
Tom holds a Juris Doctor and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Law from the University of Queensland, with distinction. He also holds a Bachelor’s in Applied Science, Advanced Diploma in IT and Business. Recognised as an Outstanding Queenslander of the Year in 2016, Tom also founded Australia’s largest youth mentoring charity, M-YES.INC. He is a sought-after business consultant and legal contractor in allied health procurement and corporate governance. Through his vision for Urban Nests, Tom aims to address Australia’s rental affordability crisis with tailored, community-focused housing solutions.

Terry is a dynamic executive with extensive experience in strategic development, operations, venture capital, and IT systems. A retired U.S. Army Senior Engineer Officer and former Olympic team coach, Terry brings leadership and innovation across sectors. He is the President/CEO of Data Discovery, Inc.—a multi-million dollar company with operations in Texas, Florida, and Israel. At Urban Nests, Terry provides strategic governance, business development, and market expansion insights.
